Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 1977. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are some of her most notable films. Ana Paula Oliveira has been an integral part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime from March 2020. She is the manager of the Assassination Witness and is a member of GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement team. The GI-TOC's research activities is focused on disappearances, assassinations and other forms of violence in the context of illicit economies. The research area she is interested in is the effect of organized criminality on law, policy and legislation that pertain to the human right. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum honors degree with a major in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies at Geneva. Fundacao Getulio Vargas has awarded her with an LL.M. Cum laude in Public Law. Ana Paula is a graduate of The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with a magnacum laude degree in Legal Sciences as well as Social Sciences. The experience she has gained as a lawyer includes four years of practice at a firm that specializes in public law litigation. Her past experiences also included working with roles in non-governmental organizations that are headquartered in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
